Impact is how much of the 100-point match score, or your profile strength, each one controls.
“Looking now” is worth the full 18 availability points; “not looking” caps your whole score at 30. If you're finishing a job, set the date you're free — a date before the posting's start still scores full marks.
Update availabilityRequired tickets are a hard gate for employers and 85% of the certification score. An expired ticket scores zero — and the breakdown says “expired” so you know to renew. We'll remind you 60 and 14 days out.
Add ticketsSkills are the single biggest factor. Pick from your trade's list and mark each one: can help / can do on my own / can lead. Employers filter on the level; four or more unlocks the “skills” part of your profile strength.
Add skillsSame community scores 20, same region 18, a region you've ticked 16, willing to travel or camp 11. Nothing ticked outside your home region means zero for every job elsewhere.
Set regionsExperience level is scored from what you tell us, but employers open profiles that show a real site, a real employer and dates. One entry is enough to start.
Add work historyTap “write it for me” and the AI drafts a summary from your profile; edit it in your own words. It's the first thing an employer reads on your card.
Write summaryNot required and never used in scoring — but a real face on a card gets opened more. A job-site photo in your gear is perfect.
Add photoThe best trades workers are hired within 48 hours. When an employer messages or invites you, a same-day reply keeps you at the top of their pipeline. Turn on push or email for messages.
Check applicationsEmployers can sort by recent activity, and the default search puts recently-active profiles first. Opening the app, updating a date, or replying counts.
Open dashboardThese three are the tickets employers ask for most (see the live numbers below). Fall Protection and First Aid are two-day courses from NLCSA-approved providers; WHMIS is a couple of hours online.
