  1. Live aggregates

    Every number on this page is an aggregate query over the live database, counts grouped by trade and region. No sampling, no estimates, no third-party data.

  2. How worker counts differ

    The headline counts public worker profiles. Trade and region charts count profiles with a selected primary trade, including private profiles, and show totals rather than individual identities. Demo accounts are excluded.

  3. Open means open

    Job figures count postings with status “open”. Postings expire automatically and employers must confirm they’re still hiring, so stale ads don’t inflate demand.

  4. Same definitions as the matcher

    “Experienced” means 3+ years. “Looking” means looking now, available soon, or an apprentice needing hours. Definitions match the matching formula.

  5. Partners get the same cut

    Unions, colleges and employment offices can get region-level exports of these aggregates. Learn more.
