Formwork Carpenter

Allied Construction Management is hiring 4 full-time Formwork Carpenters in the St. John’s Metro area. You’ll handle framing, formwork, interior finishes, and general construction work on commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Read drawings and specifications, build to quality standards, and help keep work on schedule.

You’ll work with superintendents, forepersons, and other trades on a crew that values safe, organized work. Allied Construction Management specializes in structural concrete, commercial, multi-residential, and institutional construction and is a member of the Merit Contractors Association.

What you'll do

• Complete formwork, framing, interior finish, and general carpentry tasks
• Read and follow drawings, specifications, and instructions
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

What you need

• Minimum 2–3 years’ commercial or residential construction experience
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods
• Reliable, detail-oriented, safety-focused approach and team mindset
• Red Seal or equivalent experience preferred
