MCW Group holds a $187 million energy performance contract at 5 Wing Goose Bay, running from May 2026 to December 2030. The core of it is converting the base heating plant from diesel to electric, along with new controls and metering. A broader defence commitment tied to NORAD northern basing has been reported at up to $8 billion, but its scope and timing are undefined, so only the contracted work is mapped here. This is mechanical and electrical work, not new build.
